The audiovisual performance responds to the Baroque garden in a contemporary context, taking into account changes in environmental perception. The group turns the viewer’s attention to issues related to water, reflecting and challenging the notion of water as a tamed element. In their site-specific intervention, the authors highlight the unsustainability of this position and perceive this attitude as problematic.
They therefore put themselves in the perspective of the river and abandon the usual way of perception – the audiovisual materials used are taken in direct contact with the river (hydrophone, underwater camera). The group brings the river back into the garden environment through field recordings and site-specific projections, drawing attention to the interconnectedness and dependence of the entire site on the water of the wild Vltava.
