Solo for Shakuhachi is based on Barry Wan’s live shakuhachi playing and its subsequent tonal and time modulation by the other members of the group. The visual part of the performance is provided by a generative audio-reactive projection, which refers to the visual similarities between Japanese landscapes and the Czech Central Highlands.
