No man steps into the same river twice IV

The basis of the work is open collaboration, media working with time and working with conceptual and physical space, which each artist treats with his own distinctive approach and technique. Among the themes most often addressed in their work are the context of place, acoustic ecology, field recordings, interactivity and the blurring of the boundaries of authorship.

For their performance at the Regional Gallery Liberec, they were inspired by the Jizera Stream, which rises in the Jizera Mountains below Žulův vrch between the towns of Ruprechtice, Starý Harcov and Rudolfov. At the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, this stream was used by the inhabitants of Liberec for recreation, especially in the vicinity of Lidové sady. Today, however, most of the stream is underground, hidden by buildings. Auxig symbolically draws it back to the surface through field recordings and video footage.
